White Crane Qigong (Qi - Air, Gong - Work)

White Crane Qigong dates back to a time in Chinese history where the “Yellow Emperor” classics of “Internal Medicine” says to “stand alone quietly and preserve the spirit and all parts of the body will be as one”. It is a Qigong stye developed by the Taoist masters in ancient china.

White Crane focuses on circulating Qi throughout the body’s primary energy channels. Like some other forms of Qigong, there are both Hard and Soft styles of White Crane Qigong. Although they’re based on similar principles, each is oriented around a different intention. Your Qigong course will focus on the soft style. This style focuses more on cultivating and developing the internal energies (internal power) of your body. The training exercises focus on slow flowing movements to move internal energy through out all parts of the body.

Unlike traditional exercise the Qigong training blends the qualities of movement and relaxation, there is no seeking of accomplishing something, rather you will the greatest nourishment through effortless flow. All of your training will focus on developing these principles and essential qualities.
