Reason for Revenge

Have you ever wanted to get revenge for I know I have, which lead me to my first martial arts class.  For many years I was convinced that if I trained hard enough I would be able to find my tormentor and teach him a lesson.  That was 25 years ago..

It took many years for me to realise that this was a useless pursuit.  Once I realised this I spent the rest of my life pursuing martial arts for entirely different reasons.

  1. I realised my body was getting fitter and stronger.
  2. I met a lot of nice people and made life long friends.
  3. My confidence increased.
  4. My outlook on life changed.
  5. You learn honour and humility (there will always be someone better)

My training history is based mainly on Chinese Martial Arts, including Tai Chi, Chi Gung and Yoga.  My practice is based on a style from the Shaolin Temple incorporating the movements of five different animals.  These animals are Tiger, Crane, Snake, Leopard and Dragon.  The system of Hung Gar is a traditional system remaining unchanged by today’s standards we are not offering a commercial system.  We are teaching an art that trains not only the external, but, the internal, through efficient breathing techniques.

We are offering two classes in the local area.  One will be Kung Fu the other class will be based on fitness and strength routines from martial arts, Chi Gung and Yoga.
